On many boards, filling a second or third M.2 slot silently disables a SATA port or drops the graphics slot to half its lanes. This board is not one of them, at least for storage: ASUS lists it as supporting "3 x M.2 slots and 4 x SATA 6Gb/s ports" as a total, with no conditions attached and no footnote qualifying it. All three drives and all four SATA devices can be connected at once.

The board does have one sharing note, and it does not involve storage. The secondary full-length slot shares with the two short slots — ASUS puts it this way: "PCIEX16(G3) shares bandwidth with PCIEX1(G3)_1 and PCIEX1(G3)_2. When PCIEX1(G3)_1 or PCIEX1(G3)_2 runs at PCIe x1 mode, PCIEX16(G3) will only run at PCIe x2 mode." That matters if you are stacking a capture card and a sound card into the lower slots. It has nothing to do with your graphics card, which sits in the top slot, or with your drives.

Build quality on the ASUS TUF Gaming B760-PLUS WiFi D4 is good for the price point. The VRM heatsinks are adequately sized, and ASUS has included M.2 heatsinks to keep NVMe drives cool. The board layout is logical with well-placed headers and sufficient clearance around the CPU socket for most coolers.
The 12+1 power delivery is appropriate for the board's target audience. It handles stock operation and moderate power draw processors without issue. If you're running a mid-tier processor at stock speeds, you'll have no concerns. Just avoid pairing it with the most power-hungry flagship CPUs.
WiFi 6 provides solid wireless performance for gaming and streaming. 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet provides excellent wired speeds for NAS and local network transfers. The rear panel features 7x USB, providing ample connectivity for peripherals, external storage, and high-speed devices.
